17th Day in Ningbo, China

Time : 9:30AM

Woke up early to go to MCdonald's for breakfast. Left the house at about 10:15AM to NGS, a megamall (there seems to be tons of them here), only a 5 min walk away from our place. Reached the McD's to find out they didn't have breakfast menu and were already selling normal stuff. Don't know if the breakfast period was over or they juz didnt have a breakfast menu. Got me some spicy filet o fish meal and the kids got cheeseburgers/chicken winglets. After that, followed my parents to shop around NGS. Anyhoo's here are some pics from NGS/Mcdonalds.




Time : Afternoon

Rest day for the folks while me, Kim and Nat played badminton outside. Kim had to study for her exams on Monday so we retired to the study room for some learning. Helped Nat type out some Science stuff from a book she borrowed from school.

Time : 7PM

Left the house to get some dinner at a japanese restaurant here. Apparently, they had all u can eat buffet promotions so my parents decided to take me there to try out the japanese food. No driver for the day so we had to take a cab and man it was a hell of a ride! The guy was like on drugs or sumthing zooming past everything, it was 2 fast 2 furious Ningbo taxi drift! Scary man, could have easily got us hurt. Luckily he didnt and we were more than happy to be able to get out of the cab asap once we reached the place. got the whole cab ride on video so yeah maybe you guys will be able to watch it. Anyway, the jap rest. had rooms like traditional japanese houses. Had to take off our shoes to get into the room. Met Alex there, an indonesian friend of my parents, who used to live in Singapore too. He joined us for dinner.Don't really like how he is, the way he talked in front of the kids, spouting vulgarities and stuff, his sense of music omg, totally horrendous, techno>!>!>!> his attempts at jokes which often fell short, wouldn't really wanna know him better. haha The food at the place was 'ok' but definitely not as good as ones in Singapore. (I rather thought that since China was nearer to Japan, they'd have better quality fresh fish, but oh well haha) It was a S$20-25 buffet each so cant have any complaints about that. Left the restaurant for home. Alex gave us a ride home. Following that, bummed with the kids and went online to watch soccer! ahah Went to sleep at about 2-3AM. Booyah!
