7th Day In Ningbo, China
Date : 081106
Time : 10:30AM
Woke up feeling much beter, with the fever and sore throat gone. The plan was to stay home today and so I did. Mom cooked mee hoon soup. Yummy!
Time : 12:00PM
Started to convert the DV tapes into VCD so installed the program into my mom's laptop. Found out the burn directly to VCD program wasn't compatible with the CD-RW drive on the laptop. GRR! tried it on Kimberly's and Nat's computer and yet again no go. spent 3+hrs trying to figure it out! haha Decided to take a break.
Time : 3:00PM
Watched Lucky Number Slevin on DVD. Very, very good show, Josh Hartnett, Lucy Liu and Bruce Willis did a stellar job on this film. Kids came home at around 3:40. Mom went out to havea facial and so it was just us kids at home. At about 4:50, went out to play basketball. Kim and Nat were burning some scented wood out front. Me and Kim went on a photo trip, showcasing our undeniable talent in basketball. The next NBA and WNBA big stars have just been born....
Watch Out World! Here We Come!

Rishab came out and we played a little soccer out on the front. It's been a while since i had kicked a ball, and my knee is still having some pain so i wasn't as agile as before. Here's a pic of the next Cristiano Ronaldo..
Silky skills from a silky player

Time : 5:45PM
Went back into the house, it was dark by now and the kids had Mandarin tuition at 6:00PM. Since i couldn't burn a tape into VCD directly, i decided to transfer the tapes into Kimberly's comp by using Windows Movie Maker. Using the Sony program would have made the file huge, with one 60 minute tapetaking up almost 10 Gigs. Doing this makes the resolution and quality less but space is precious, having to transfer more than 10 DV tapes. Had dinner at 8PM and then went to the convenience store with the family and Rishab. On the way, Kim got moody. It lasted till we came back to the house. Kim lied on the hammock and my mom went to talk to her, while me, Nat and Rishab played more basketball haha. Apparently, Kim was having problems with some girls in school, pouring her heart out to my mom. Think it's not easy being a 11-12 yr old girl reaching adolescence in a foreign land. well everything was sorted out and i continued transferring the apes to the computer. Stayed up updating the blog and checking up on toy forums.. haha all you people in Singapore, go check out Spawn Asia at LVL 1 Stamford House and tell me if you find anything nice to buy. Buy for me if nice can ok thanks mauauahaha
Signing Off,
